ShivShakti, in its pure form, means the union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. Lord Shiva is the universal consciousness and Devi Shakti is the divine universal energy. Shiva-Shakti corresponds to two essential aspects: the masculine principle, which represents the abiding aspect of God, and the feminine principle, which represents its energy, the force which acts in the manifested world and life itself. Therefore, the creation, sustenance and well-being of the whole universe is driven by the energies generated from the union of these two vital forces, namely Shiva and Shakti.

Thus, worshipping Shiv Shakti together is extremely powerful as it vitalises the energies in the human existence.

In today’s spectrum of life, by engaging oneself in the devotion of ShivShakti, one can experience spiritual fulfilment, feeling of gratification and emotional harmony. It brings in good health, wealth, prosperity and success.

With this mindful awareness, Hiranandani Estate Residents’ Welfare Association (“HERWA”) is keen to awaken this supreme energy for the welfare of Thanekars. Therefore, HERWA with the support of HEY Foundation has planned to conduct a ShivShakti Maha Yagya. The Maha Yagya is intended to be performed at a mighty scale with Yagya being performed simultaneously in Fifty-One Kunds, from morning 8:00 am till sunset for 5 continuous days from 30th March 2024 to 3rd April 2024.

The said Maha Yagya is proposed to be performed by Pandit Shri Ashok Bissa (Sana Maharaj – Bikaner) alongwith Pandit Shri Ashok Ranga (Shastri – Bikaner) along with around 80 other pandits.

Further, His Holiness Jagatguru Shankaracharya Shri Vidya Shankar Bharthi, Karveer Peeth, Kolhapur is proposed to be inaugurating the Maha Yagya.

Notes To Remember

Devotees are required to wear traditional attire. Men should wear dhoti or pyjama with an upper cloth, and women should wear a saree or salwar kameez with a dupatta.
Assemble 20 min prior to your booking time.
Each couple will get 30 min to perform Yagya
Carry booking receipt received on email – Print or Screenshot.
Spot booking available only for Parikrama.

Bhandara (free food distribution) on 3rd April ’24 at 7pm to 9pm
